Mock Facilitation: Put the Method Into Practice
One of the main advantages of in-person Apollo RCA training is the opportunity to practise the methodology in a collaborative group environment.
The course includes a guided mock facilitation exercise where participants work through a simulated investigation and apply the concepts covered during the training.
This practical exercise helps participants:

Training is led by Luke Bayly, owner and Lead Trainer at Root Cause Australia.
Luke is a Chartered Professional Engineer and Apollo Root Cause Analysis trainer and facilitator with more than 15 years of engineering, maintenance and reliability experience.
He has applied the Apollo RCA methodology since 2017 across asset-intensive operating environments and brings that practical engineering perspective into onsite training.
His professional background includes reliability engineering, maintenance strategy, Root Cause Analysis, RCM, FMECA and asset performance improvement.

How long is the in-person course?
The standard in-person Apollo RCA course is delivered over two full training days.
Where can onsite training be delivered?
Training can be delivered at client workplaces or agreed training locations across Australia, subject to scheduling and travel requirements.
How many participants can attend?
Private in-person courses are commonly structured for groups of approximately 10–20 participants. Contact Root Cause Australia if your group falls outside this range.
Does each participant need a computer?
Participants should have access to a laptop or desktop computer so they can use RC Pro™ during the practical parts of the course.
Is RC Pro™ included?
Yes. Participants receive 12 months of RC Pro™ access as part of the training package.
Does the in-person course include facilitation practice?
Yes. In-person training includes a guided mock facilitation exercise so participants can practise applying the methodology in a group investigation environment.
